Supply Chain Specialist
What are we looking for?
Jetson is a rapidly growing eVTOL Company with a mission to democratize flight and redefine personal transportation. We are the first in the world to have a commercially available personal eVTOL, and we aren't stopping there. In order to achieve these goals, we recruit globally to find the right combination of skills needed in each team member. The expectations on each individual are high, as could be expected due to the technology level and pace of development. Our R&D centre is nestled on a grass airfield in the hills of southern Tuscany. Vintage airplanes drop by the facility to say 'hi' and dinner in Florence is within reach.
Our team consists of the highest calibre talent from around the globe, including Sweden, Poland, UK and of course Italy! Our engineers, sales, marketing, and management team all work in an open planned office.
We are in our infancy in our organisation and structure, and this makes it a very exciting time for a professional to join us.
Jetson is currently looking for a Suppy Chain Specialist to join our Operations team.
General needs of the company
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse organization and handling;
Goods shipping and receiving operations management;
Overseeing the transportation and storage of products and materials, including administrative tasks such as import/export clearance and sometimes manual labour As side activity, you will support our purchasers in the process of selecting key suppliers, negotiating the company's purchasing agreements and making sure their materials and products meet the company's specifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field;
Minimun of 3 years experience in supply chain management or related field;
Proficiency in MS Office applications;
Strong project management skills;
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams;
High adaptability and comfort in a high-paced startup environment;
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
